The 119th Wimbledon Championships get under way on Monday, as Roger Federer begins his quest for a third successive title against Paul-Henri Mathieu.
As is the tradition at the All England Club, the reigning men's champion will open Centre Court proceedings at 1300.
Britain's Greg Rusedski faces Spain's Alberto Martin on Court Two, but Tim Henman will not play until Tuesday.
Play could be slightly held up after rain on Monday morning - with hot and humid conditions forecast.
Monday's full order of play
Queues have been building all weekend, as fans flock from around the world to south west London to attend one of the showpiece events of the UK summer.
Hundreds of tents, many decorated with Union flags, lined the streets around the All England Club as the opening day of the championships dawned.
Henman remains the top draw for most British tennis fans, but his mantle as home favourite could be threatened this year - not by Rusedski, but by rising star Andy Murray.
The 18-year-old Scot - who won the US Open junior title last year - is, like Henman, not due on court until Tuesday.
Play is scheduled to begin on the outside courts at midday, with Centre Court and Court One starting an hour later.
And Federer is odds-on favourite to continue his stranglehold on the men's singles event after wins in 2003 and 2004.
But despite his 29-match winning run on grass, the Swiss star admits he does not believe he is invincible on the surface.
"For example, I should have lost last week in Halle but came through and won," said Federer, who opens his campaign for a hat-trick of titles against world number 60, Mathieu of France.
"Grass is tough because it always comes down to one or two points. I have managed to win those points for the last 29 matches.
